Monero/Yuin Elder Aunty Aileen Blackburn speaks to the importance of community voice in natural resource and land management. This video addresses how government agencies have historically managed Aboriginal land with minimal community input, and how free enterprise in the water and fishing industries has taken advantage of a lack of opportunities for First Nations people. Through her truth-telling, Aunty Aileen highlights the ongoing need for justice and community control over traditional lands.
